But as the saying goes, what is in a name, or for that matter, the jersey number 17, provided you can score the required goals? Nothing, or in this case, plenty.

He was beyond a fox in the box as he darted around the penalty area and gave the Warriors defenders plenty to think about. It was not long before he got the just reward for his afternoon’s hustle. Following a cutback from the byline by the equally impressive Cherubim Maduka, Victor coolly side-footed into the Warriors’ net for his first and also the first goal of the tournament. It was not just the goal, but also his energetic display in the final third of the pitch that caught the attention.
