Still, it is rare to see two players share the player of the week award, which is what happened in week two of the Abia State Fifty1 Alliance Five-A-Side Football Supalig as the performances of Chinaka Precious and Godwin Matthew were at par with each other. While Godwin directly and indirectly orchestrated Forster’s siege on the Nagotex FC half of the pitch, Chinaka single-handedly kept Nagotex in the game, preventing a very heavy score line against Nagotex. Even in the final penalty kick, it came down to Chinaka versus Godwin, with Godwin prevailing via a very thoughtful and well-taken penalty, which, despite his best effort, Chinaka could not save.
