After a successful first season in 2024, the 2025 season of the Fifty1 Alliance Abia State Basketball League is set to begin in July.
Part of the plans for the new season is to grow the number of participating teams from the 4 that took part in 2024 to preferably 8 teams.
It will be recalled that four teams, Uturu Kings, Umuahia Stars, Aba Eclipse, and Umudike Dyker,s participated in the 2024 edition.
