In its continued strategy to grow the game of basketball, especially in Abia State, Fifty1 Alliance, working with Abia State Basketball Association and the Abia State Sports Council, has launched and new basketball tournament, the Fifty1 Alliance Abia State Basketball Cup.
The tournament is expected to feature 8 teams and attract basketball talent from all over Nigeria and possibly outside. Registration forms for the tournament have already been sent out to teams intending to participate.
The basketball cup is deliberately being held before the 2025 Abia State Basketball League as part of the organiser’s plan to grow the number of participating teams in the 2025 Fifty1 Alliance Basketball League and to also grow the pool of basketball talent in Abia State.
