Though petite looking and standing at just 5.8ft tall, Uwaoma is no pushover on the
football field. Listed as a midfielder, he played in Uchecaria’s first Supalig game against
GT Warriors as almost a right back, leading many to believe that perhaps this is his position. But, surprise, come the second game against Forster Academy, he played as number eight. Speaking to Fifty1 Alliance after the narrow and tough match day 2 loss to Forster Academy, he said that despite the victory on match day 1, the technical crew assessed that he had played too deep. Deployed further up the pitch in a more central role, he was simply unbelievable, marauding up and down the pitch, winning tackles, initiating attacks, and also making some goal attempts. He was everywhere in a diminutive way. Even ending up on the losing side could not deny him his due reward, as the Fifty1 Alliance player of week 3.
